What is Our Mission?

We set out to produce a truly comfortable mattress for Semi Truck Drivers and RV/Camper Owners that fits your space requirements. 

From working in the residential mattress business industry for many years, and receiving repeated requests for these “voyage mattress” types, our owners just knew that something needed to be done to help provide a good night's sleep while "on the road.”  The only problem was; “How do our customers find this mattress?”  Our solution is LoveMyMattress.com.

Company Profile

Hi! I'm Rich Davis, I started this company along with my wife Diana to have the opportunity to fill a need in the mattress industry for comfortable "on the go" mattresses. I knew that the market needed two things:

1. a comfortable mattress made of quality components and...
2. a mattress that is sized to fit the unique space requirements of truck, RV, camper and boat owners. 
   

My experience in the residential mattress industry taught me the ins and outs of the business which gave me the product knowledge and the contacts I needed to be able to do just that.

We want you to be happy with our products and we want you to recommend this company to others. To make sure that happens, I pledge to maintain high quality standards in workmanship and in the selection of raw materials.  We utilize long term relationships with strategic suppliers to leverage the highest quality mattress components at the lowest possible prices. This enables us to build a quality mattress with comfort that lasts!

LoveMyMattress.com History

Our first production runs occurred in the dining room of our home in Albany, GA. We quickly outgrew the confines of the house and rented commercial space in a local plaza. Again, we outgrew that space and began looking for commercial property to purchase. We settled on a location in Dawson, GA.

The building was previously a dry cleaner and we bought it, old equipment and all! After numerous requests from our customers to offer residential mattresses, we spent several months remodeling, and in January of 2008 we opened a showroom offering residential mattresses to the local area in addition to our web based customers.

Well, 2008 started out great! We were growing beyond our projections, our customers were enthusiastically telling us how happy they were with our products, and everything was going even better than we had hoped.  Then, in April of 2008, as the fuel prices skyrocketed, our sales plummeted. In just a few short months we knew that our budding little company was not going to be able to weather this economic storm.

In August of 2008 we decided to join forces with a much larger and well established company in Greenville, SC….. Park Place Corporation.

As it has turned out, this economic downturn has been a blessing in disguise. We are now partnered with a wonderful team of mattress manufacturing professionals! This has enabled us to not only keep our mission of providing great mattresses to the people who need them most, but we are now able to do so with the advantage of partnering with an established and respected manufacturer.
 
We are committed to producing our mattresses with the same attention to detail that has produced many happy customers all across America!  Our desire to make sure that “you,” our customer, receives a custom mattress that exceeds your expectations will never waver.
